Smoothie Recipe: A St. Patty’s Citrus Delight

Smoothie Recipe: A St. Patty’s Citrus Delight

When we talk to people about Coromega Squeeze, we can’t help but talk up the benefits of taking omega-3s in our proprietary emulsified form.  A few of our favorite highlights:

-          Better absorption – Coromega has 300 percent better absorption of omega-3s than softgels, clinically proven

-          Taste – Coromega products come in delicious flavors without the fishy aftertaste common with softgels or liquids

-          Convenience – Coromega is packaged in convenient squeeze packets that allow you to take them wherever, whenever

Another thing that excites us: the many different ways you can take Coromega.  One great way is by mixing Coromega into a smoothie, so we thought we’d share with you this tasty citrus smoothie recipe from IncredibleSmoothies.com, which can be paired with our Omega3 Squeeze in Orange or Lemon Lime, Omega3 + D, Coromega Heart and Kids DHA Omega3 Squeeze in Orange and Lemon Lime.

Bonus: the smoothie is green, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!  Enjoy, and please feel free to post your favorite ways to enjoy Coromega below.

We taste tested this smoothie and can honestly say it’s not only good for you but tastes delicious!

Lemon-Orange with Apple Green Smoothie

  • 1/2 large lemon, peeled
  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 1 large organic apple, cored
  • 2 cups or handfuls organic baby spinach (or other leafy green)
  • 4 to 6 ounces of filtered water
  • 1 packet of Coromega Omega3 Squeeze

Squeeze the lemon into the smoothie or toss it in like an orange. You can also substitute the citruses in the recipe – lime for lemon or grapefruit for orange.

Add all the ingredients except for the greens to your blender and hit the “pulse” button a few times. Next, add the rest of the greens and blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy.
