Coromega’s VP of Sales Featured on Village One Radio
Last weekend, our vice president of sales, Mark Smith, stopped by Village One Radio to dish on omega-3s! Mark spoke with show host Tallulah Love about Coromega’s history, the health benefits of omega-3s and the importance of fish purity. In case you missed it, we wanted to share some of our favorite parts!
• Coromega started when a Norwegian scientist studying omega-3s and fatty acids couldn’t get his granddaughter to eat fish or take fish oil. He developed a great-tasting fish oil product (without fishy aftertaste!), put it in a toothpaste tube, and would squeeze off a teaspoon for her everyday.
• The benefits of omega-3 are varied and well-documented. Brain function, heart heath, and skin, hair and eye care are all benefits associated with high levels of omega-3s.*
• The percentage of omega-3 fatty acids in your blood should be around 6.2% for a healthy level of omega-3s. The average American’s omega-3 levels usually come in at 5 percent which is considered deficient. Taking Coromega regularly can close that gap and get people into the healthy omega-3 zone.
• With purity issues often a concern for certain types of fish oil, consumers should always do their research! The best fish for quality fish oil are pure, deep water fish like anchovies and sardines.
Way to go, Mark!
