Yummy Smoothie Recipes

We love our Coromega straight from the packet or directly from the spoon but adding it to your daily smoothie can give your ordinary smoothie an omega-3 boost! Here our some of our favorites. Any smoothie can benefit from the addition of crucial omega-3s. One to two Squeeze packets or 2 tsp. of our Big Squeeze will do the trick!

Coromega-Julius-Glow

Julius Glow

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice pulp (from ~3 oranges) or one whole peeled orange, pulled apart *
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1 scoop organic vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. honey (optional for a sweeter taste)
  • 2 tsp. Coromega Omega-3 (or 2 packets)

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Coromega-Beaming-Blue-Smoothie

Beamin Blue

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup almond-coconut milk (you can use just coconut or just almond)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, skinned and pitted
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tsp. Coromega Omega-3 (or 2 packets)
  • 1/2 fresh ice

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in blender and puree. Add a few fresh blueberries (optional)

If You Like Pina Coladas

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup light coconut milk
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 2 tsp. Be Bright™ Superfood Oil Blend
  • 1/4 cup crushed ice
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced lemongrass
  • For garnish:
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients except the coconut flakes in a blender container and puree until smooth. Top off with coconut flakes, yum!

Feeling sassy or to amp up a cocktail favorite? Add 1.5 ounces rum, optional (adding rum adds 97 calories to the recipe)

Be Energized

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • The juice of 1 orange (or if you have a good blender you can add the whole orange)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tsp. Be Bright™ Superfood Oil Blend 1 teaspoon maca

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Be Beautiful

Creamy Tropical Turmeric Smoothie. Serves 1.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 3/4 cup pineapple chunks, fresh or frozen
  • 3/4 cup full fat BPA and additive free canned coconut milk  plus 1/4 cup water)
  • fresh turmeric, peeled ~ about the size of a small grape (or 1/4-1/2 tsp turmeric powder )
  • fresh ginger, peeled ~ about the size of a small grape
  • 2 tsp. Be Bright™Supefood Oil Blend
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Optional: 3-4 ice cubes, if you like a colder smoothie

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

Smoothie Bowls

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 peach
  • A large handful frozen pineapple
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 – 1 teaspoon baobab (optional)
  • 2 tsp. Be Bright™Supefood Oil Blend

Instructions:

I topped them with raspberries, peach, goji berries, raw coconut chips and freeze dried raspberry – would have been so good with passion fruit as well!

Tropical Dessert Bowl

Ingredients:

  • Skyr/greek yoghurt
  • Banana, sliced
  • Pineapple, chopped
  • Raw coconut chips
  • Granola– I used a honey toasted one for a little extra sweetness
  • Optional – a little honey or agave to mix with the skyr/greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp. Be Bright™Supefood Oil Blend

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in bowl and eat.
